At some point in our lives each of us find ourselves to be on some kind of Quest. Whether it is a quest of self discovery,
education, the right career path or the meaning of life, we all find ourselves searching for something at some point
in our lives. Currently my quest is a mixture of all these things.
I find myself searching for my purpose in life, my reason for existing, my perfect career, ways to make money without
taking away time from my kids and my family life. I am forever searching ways to make me a better person, friend, mother,
sister, cousin, aunt etc...
I am not sure my quest will ever end, there are so many things I want to do in life, and so little life to live. I never
knew or realized there was so much out there just waiting for me to take life by the horns and do with it my will! The only
problem with that is, I can't just jump into everything I want to do. Some things take time, require skills and ability
that must be learned.
As of March 28, 2008 I will have achieved one of my dreams. A small piece of my quest. I will have graduated from
college with my associates degree in criminal justice. I left home at an early age, a high school drop out, wanting so much
more from life then life had lead me to believe I deserved, or would ever be able to achieve. A great thing about America,
you can achieve your dreams!
I may never accomplish all the things in life I wish to do, and there are many, but maybe someday I will leave my
mark on the world that saw I was here, and I did my best to make it a better place for ALL.
