I am very excited about this student organization because the students involved are serious about the club and are purpose driven for it. There are things that the CJ students want, that the school can not provide, so the students are banning together to take action.

Much credit for Corpus Delecti goes to Mrs. Bowling for motivating the students to do more then complain about things they want or need. So were are going after the things we feel would make our classes more specific to our individual needs, and desires.

She has inspired us all to some degree. Though my time as a student of hers was short lived, I am appreciative of the time I did get to have her as my instructor.

Right now the CJ students are wanting to get a cadaver dog to take on our searches and hunts of the cold cases we.ve been working on. The dog and the training is going to run about $2,500 dollars. We have a host for the dog, the purchase is the problem. So the students have decided to raise the money ourselves. We are in the process of getting the permission and approval needed for our area and the six surrounding counties, as well as the surrounding states to host a shooting competition. There will be prizes awared for the top three-five shooters. We don't have all the details worked out yet, as we are not positive what all we will be allowed to do. Trohpies will be awarded, medals of sportsmanship, food, drinks, all in a family friendly environment. I am very excited about this event. 

I am also talking to a friend about enlisting her help and the help of her husband for a bake sale to raise the money to help fund the shooting event.
